Announcements and Reminders:
Have a safe and fun Fall Break!
If you need to catch up on your written responses in your composition book, take it home and read for about 20 minutes, then respond. Do this as many times as you need to. You should have twelve or more responses.  There is a late bus available after school on Tuesday  through Thursday for students who wish to stay after to work
on their grades. It leaves at 4 pm and drops off students
at the elementary schools nearest their homes.
If you wish to order books from Scholastic, the book orders will be due by today, Wednesday,
October 14th.

1. Individual Reading --
Write a brief response in your composition book (Reader Response) Appointment clock -- We have already used 1:00 and 3:00 and 5:00 and 7:00, 11:00, 9:00, 12:00, 10:00, 2:00, 6:00, 4:00 and today 8:00.
You should have at least twelve entries in the Response section of your composition book.
The Graveyard Book -- winner of the Newbery Medal, the Carnegie Medal, and the Hugo Award.
Chapter 1
Today: from chapter 4, page 105, minute 5:44 to Chapter 4, page 123, minute 38:11 to the end of chapter 4, beginning next time on page 144.
