Book orders are due tomorrow.

You may wear costumes on Friday, but the dress code still applies.
Costumes CANNOT include full-face paint, masks, or weapons.

I will spend time reading for enjoyment!

   I will listen and read along as our class reads a shared book.

    I can recognize text features and discuss why the author/publisher chose           to use them.

1.  Individual Reading --

         Write a brief response in your composition book (Reader Response)
Question:  What advice would you give to a main character from your book if you could talk with him or her right now -- at the point your are at in your book? 


2.  Discussion: 
How do the illustrations affect your reading of this book?  Or do they?

3. The Graveyard Book - More of Neil Gaiman reading to us!
last time: minute 32:21, page 162 to  chapter six 29:14, page 190.


Write Epitaphs -- At least one finished neatly to hand in by the end of class if you haven't already handed one in.
