Announcements and Reminders:        School Pictures:  September 3-4         Don't forget to bring a composition book to leave in the classroom There will be a school dance for 7th and 8th graders right after school this Friday. 2:45 - 4:00pm --  $2.00 entrance fee

Targets for Today:    I will spend time reading for enjoyment!    I will check my understanding of genre in literature.    I will learn about an author.    I will listen and read along as our class begins reading a shared book.

Today’s  Agenda: Find your assigned seat. Turn in your disclosure document signature sheet, if it is filled out. 1. Set up composition books. 2. I will follow at least two of the links provided above to learn about the author of The Storyteller's Daughter. I will catch up on what the class has read in The Storyteller's Daughter.
