Announcements and Reminders:                           Happy April!  Today is supposed to be warm and partly cloudy -- a good day for dueling!

Targets for Today: I can read, think about,  and discuss literature.   I can duel in Rithmatics or create wonderful chalklings!  I can read, comprehend, and answer questions about the novel Holes.

Today’s  Agenda: Remember:   Coming to our Classroom:  Poetry and Chocolate  on Thursday,  April  19                Bring a poem to share.  Bring chocolate.                  Ms. Dorsey will provide hot chocolate.                  You will have some time in the lab on Friday, April 13 to find poems.  1.  Prepare for the Duels!   (Dystopian Book Presentation?)  2.  Rithmatic Duels  -- on the east patio        You will be either dueling or creating chalklings.          You must stay where you can see the teacher.         Clean up (pick up chalk) after yourself.        3. Individual Reading Time -- Holes, if not finished, or, if finished, your own choice of book
