Announcements and Reminders:                                                                   If you won a prize at our Stargirl party, remember to select a book! You may finish turning in your Secret Service project papers and your unused hall passes today. Please take the Teacher Evaluation Survey.  I've sent a link to you and to your parents through Skyward email.

Targets for Today: I will spend time reading for enjoyment!         Utah State Core Reading: Literature Standard 10              Utah State Core Reading: Literature Standard 2     I will listen and read along as our class reads a shared book, or short story, or poetry.                Utah State Core Reading: Literature Standard 2          Utah State Core Reading: Literature Standard 10     I can show that I can understand and respond to literature.

Today’s  Agenda: Individual reading time.  If you haven't finished, finish reading Stargirl. Fill out paper: 1. Your favorite things about this class. 2. Your least favorite things about this class. 3. Activities, etc. that you would suggest for the next class. Teacher Evaluation Survey Sharing Poetry!  Find poems that you like. We will share a book of mixed prose and mostly poetry.
