Announcements and Reminders:    Fieldtrip today! Our class meets from 1:25 to 2:45.  Remember to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a jacket if it looks like it might be chilly.         WED              OCT 5 Mostly Sunny 54°  36°  20% NNW 8 mph Well, that didn't turn out quite as we had planned!

Targets for Today: Experience a graveyard in conjunction with reading The Graveyard Book.  Create gravestone rubbings. Connect to the book also by finding graves that might somewhat fit the description of a "ghoul gate."

Today’s  Agenda: View a map of our route and then go!   This is how it turned out . . .  a little bit of sunshine and otherwise lovely weather, then  The wind came up!  The rain wasn't quite that heavy!   And all of the students were great sports! Thank you so much! And thanks to the great moms who came along with us!  After we got back, we read from The Graveyard Book to page 238 "and then he faded and was lost to them."   Chapter 7, minute 43:37
