Announcements and Reminders:                                                                    If you haven't handed in your composition book check  or your brief report on Stargirling/Starboying,  hand it in today.

Targets for Today: We will do some sustained reading for enjoyment. We will read from The Invention of Hugo Cabret, and compare it to a silent movie.

Today’s  Agenda: 1. Individual Reading Time: Choose your own materials 2. Respond to what you read:   In your composition book.  Write about 1/4 to 1/3 page under Reading Response Log. If you haven't handed in your composition book check, do that today. 3. Learn about Camera Shots (Make a list in your composition book.)  5. Watch a  Georges Melies silent movie.          Compare the silent movie with the book illustrations.   Venn Diagram 6.
